Opposing sides to vouchers in TN speak out
The Associated Press takes a look at the ongoing debate over school choice in Tennessee, and notes Beacon’s leadership in providing educational freedom to thousands of Tennessee families.
Beacon Center president Justin Owen said the group’s main objective is to give parents more educational options for their children. “We are witnessing a groundswell of support for school choice that’s unprecedented across the state,” he said. “From Memphis to Nashville, from Knoxville to Chattanooga, we are hearing a resounding plea from parents for our legislators to open the doors to higher quality educational options for their children.”
