NewsChannel 5 to feature Beacon in “policing for profit” documentary
Wrapping up a two-year investigation into “policing for profit,” Nashville’s NewChannel 5 will air a documentary on the topic on Friday, December 21st at 7:00 pm. Beacon will be featured in the documentary calling for an end to the controversial practice that allows law enforcement to seize cash and other private property merely based on suspicion that it is related to a crime.
