Lawsuit Abuse Reform: Is it Time in Tennessee?

You are invited to the kick-off forum for Focus577, a campaign by the Tennessee Center for Policy Research to educate Tennesseans on the benefits of lawsuit abuse reform.

Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011
6:30 – 7:45 p.m. Commons Center, Vanderbilt University, Room 237

Featured Panelists:
Ted Frank, Senior Fellow, Manhattan Institute for Policy Research James Blumstein, Law Professor, Vanderbilt University Charlie Ross, Former State Senator, Mississippi

Our current civil justice system costs jobs, limits access to healthcare and increases the cost of goods and services, making lawsuit abuse reform a critical issue for all Tennesseans. With lawsuit abuse reform, a whopping 577 jobs could be created every week, while still preserving the important right of citizens to access the court system. We believe the time is now for reform, and we invite you to join us for the discussion.

A media briefing will follow the forum.

Space is limited, so please RSVP to Suzanne Michel at
